lunchbox ideas: jam drops

Very rarely do I make biscuits, or cookies for our US readers out there, because I find the whole rolling into balls thing irritatingly time consuming.  But these little gems are so delicious that they're totally worth the extra time it takes to roll, press and fill them all.  Plus the kids LOVE them, so they're a winner in the lunch boxes.   In other news, I think I might be turning into my Grandmother...jam drops, old school plates...feel free to host an intervention when I start blogging about crosswords and card games.

  1. I'll have to send you an apron for your birthday to go with the plate. They look gorgeous Kirsten.

    1. That plate is one of my favourites. It belonged to my Grandmother and she gave it to me years ago (well before my appreciation for all things vintage began) along with a matching teacup and saucer. It's a very sentimental piece x

  2. Jam drops are my all time favorites in the biscuit variety and your plate is very beautiful.
My children thank you from the bottom of their hearts as you have inspired me to get my pinny on and fill their lunchboxes with home baked goodies these last couple of weeks!
