the week that was: school holiday edition

This week, being school holidays, has been filled with more tea parties, board games and hardcore family time than I can ever remember (wet weather and freezing cold days will do that to you)  Anyho,  here's how our week at home panned out...


Monday was Tea Party Central.  The Strawberry Shortcake tea set got what can only be described as a Hardcore Work Out....

Tuesday was a Little People kind of day.  Here they all are, waiting to go to the toilet.  It's quite the queue, so I'm guessing they're all ladies....

Wednesday was all kinds of awesome, as my mum offered to take the kids out for the day.  Which left me kid free for a whole 8 hours.  I think it's safe to say I spend those hours very, very wisely....

Shopping and Mummy Porn.  It's how I roll.

Thursday involved entertaining Sophie, while Bailey and his bestie entertained themselves with enough electronic devices to open their own Dick Smith store.  Sophie requested we play boardgames and teachers.  Which happen to be my two favourite pass times, so it was totally win win.

 That's the class, waiting for their teacher to arrive.  And that's Sophie whipping my butt at Trouble.

And today, Friday, sees Bailey off to his mates house for the day and Sophie and I enjoying a Girls Day Out. See you on the flip side!
