christmas in july

Last year I decided to host a Christmas in July lunch for the very first time.  This year I've decided that Christmas in July is for foolish housewives who like nothing more than to create extra work for themselves.

But because it's July and because I can't really think of anything else to blog about today, let's take a look at what this foolish housewife threw together last year....

Yeah, we're so not doing that again.

How about you?  Do you celebrate Christmas in July or do you  only expose yourself to the stress of large family gatherings when it actually is Christmas?

    1. It was a lovely day and I do enjoy a bit of hardcore party planning, but this year I think we'll just pop some bubbly instead!!

  2. I was thinking about Christmas in July! Don't put me off, I'm really keen. My son's birthday is in July and I thought it would be a great party theme.

    1. Honestly, I think everyone should have a crack at throwing together a Christmas in July lunch/dinner. It was a fun thing to do, but once is enough for me!
