Right, so today's recipe is a family favourite around these parts. I like to call it Prosciutto Pasta and it's crazy easy to make. Here's what you'll need to whip up your own at home....
enough pasta for 4 people
500 grams Prosciutto, chopped
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
chopped beans and zucchini
and of course, your Gourmet Garden herbs...
Chunky Garlic and Thyme.
Oh and a cheeky glass of red.
If that's how you roll.
Step One:
Get your pasta on the boil.
Boil the water first, then add the pasta.
It should take about 10-15 mins to cook.
Step Two:
While the pasta is cooking, you can cook the remaining ingredients in your frypan.
So, start by frying off the prosciutto along with a good dollop of Chunky Garlic....
then add the thyme....
about a tablespoon should do the trick.
Add your beans and zucchini...
And while that's cooking, drain off the pasta.
Throw the cooked and drained pasta into the frypan, along with a little of the leftover water it was boiling in and a good lug of olive oil (this will stop everything from drying out)....
Stir in your Parmesan cheese and your done.
Told you it was crazy easy to make!
And here we have the finished product.
All done in about 15 minutes...
Dish it up and serve to your family....
who will totes love it and make lots of glowing comments about your incredible cooking skills. Or not. Because they'll be too busy inhaling it to actually talk to anyone...
